Salar's Bio
Salar is currently the Digital Marketing Manager at Sono Bello - Body Contour Centers.
Salar's previous role was Community Developer at TeachStreet.com. TeachStreet is a new website built to help students of any age find great local teachers and classes, and to empower teachers with robust online tools to manage their teaching businesses.
Prior to TeachStreet, he was a Co-Founder and Business Developer for Novel Interactive.
Prior to Novel, he worked as a Financial Analyst at Amazon.com; supporting the Technology Finance organization through analysis and development of sections of the operating budget, econometric forecast modeling, and development and presentation of monthly and quarterly metrics and budget reports.
Salar holds a BA magna cum laude in Finance from Seattle University; where he recently served as a guest lecturer for the management capstone course (Senior Synthesis) alongside Professor Michael P. Ervick, MBA, PMP.
During his academic career at Seattle University, Salar was a leader in the Entrepreneurship Club; which connects experienced and successful investors with young and motivated entrepreneurs.
In 2006 Salar created a business plan for Mobatta, a start-up quick service restaurant, which achieved first runner-up at the annual Seattle University Business Plan Competition. Mobatta opened its doors to the public at the Seattle Westlake Center Mall in May of 2008.
In 2005, Salar was nominated as a delegate for the Czech Republic at the National Model United Nations Conference held in New York City.
He is currently a Microsoft Certified Professional and he holds a Washington State Real Estate Salesperson License (Inacitve).
Some of the key attributes Salar focuses to develop in himself and values in others are persistence, honesty, integrity and a positive attitude. Among many other hobbies, Salar enjoy playing the guitar and a good game of chess.
